Had news catalyst pre market and was breaking higher on big volume, entered on break of opening 3m bar, with SL set just below opening gap lows.
You can see it filled its opening gap & then took off for the rest of the day to close +25%.
I got stopped out at 11.75 and missed the big move.
Looking above you can see gap filled and a high vol bar, this is where it reversed and never looked back.
Looking at the chart now I can see I bought it when it was above the upper BB so I should have expected to come back in. Dont enter a trade when above upper BB, some times you might miss it but plenty of other opportunities. Also if something I think is a long but its gap filling keep an eye on it to see if it takes off after the gap fill like the above.
